The Rictus Ripper is an Immortal and Mythical rarity, Halloween-themed cosmetic set for Terrorblade in Dota 2, introduced in the Trove of Terror treasure. This striking cosmetic transforms the demon marauder into a skeletal, nightmarish fiend wielding oversized, glowing scythe blades.
Originating from the Trove of Terror treasure, this set embraces the collection's focus on dark fantasy and eerie seasonal motifs. The Rictus Ripper leans heavily into a supernatural, macabre aesthetic. Please note that the Trove of Terror is a distinct release, meaning this reward is not a Collector’s Cache item.
Visually, the Rictus Ripper gives Terrorblade a chilling, skeletal appearance. As seen in the official designs, the set introduces several transformative features:
-
The hero is armored in jagged, pale blue and silver skeletal plating that covers his blood-red body.
-
His head is adorned with a spiked, skull-like crown featuring a sinister fanged grin.
-
He wields massive, dual scythe-like blades emitting bright, glowing blue spectral energy.
-
The Immortal weapon offers three distinct unlockable styles.
-
The Mythical set includes a custom Metamorphosis form, transforming him into a terrifying, metallic-armored demon with a glowing red eye and tattered wings.
During matches, the Rictus Ripper radically alters Terrorblade’s silhouette, amplifying his presence with sharp skeletal armor and wide weapons. The bright blue glow provides strong visual contrast against his dark red body, ensuring his character remains instantly recognizable from a top-down perspective. The custom Metamorphosis form delivers a distinctive visual shift during combat, trading his typical demon look for an imposing armored nightmare.
Set Includes:
- Rictus Ripper - Armor
- Rictus Ripper - Back
- Rictus Ripper - Head
- Rictus Ripper - Weapon
For Dota 2 players and cosmetic collectors, this set holds unique appeal due to its ambitious Halloween-themed design and dual rarity. It offers a dramatic departure from Terrorblade’s standard aesthetic, making it an excellent choice for hero mains. The inclusion of multiple weapon styles and a custom Metamorphosis model elevates its value among fans of the Trove of Terror collection.
Add the Rictus Ripper to your Dota 2 collection and bring a nightmarish edge to your next match.
