The Daemon Hunter is a premium, Halloween-themed cosmetic set for Anti-Mage in Dota 2, specifically designed for the disciple Wei Persona. Introduced in the Trove of Terror treasure, this Immortal and Mythical rarity bundle transforms the agile spell-breaker into a gothic, monster-hunting inquisitor wielding glowing, serrated blades.
Originating from the Trove of Terror treasure, this set perfectly embraces the collection's focus on dark fantasy, supernatural hunters, and eerie seasonal motifs. The Daemon Hunter fits seamlessly into this Halloween-inspired lineup by blending Victorian-inspired apparel with brutal, anti-magic weaponry. Please note that the Trove of Terror is a distinct release, meaning this reward is not a Collector’s Cache item.
Visually, the Daemon Hunter gives Wei a sharp, disciplined, and menacing appearance. As detailed in the image preview, the set introduces several transformative features:
-
She dons an elegant yet rugged dark purple trench coat with a high collar, paired with a classic white ruffled cravat and heavy leather harnessing.
-
The Immortal headpiece gives her a striking pink and purple undercut hairstyle tied back into a long braid, complemented by small, scholarly round glasses.
-
The Immortal armor features heavy leather gauntlets and layered back plating.
-
She wields Mythical off-hand and primary weapons designed as massive, mechanical saw-blades that radiate an intense, jagged blue glow along their serrated edges.
-
The bundle includes the Anti-Mage (Wei) Persona and features custom ability effects, updating her spellcasting visuals with vibrant purple and bright blue energy.
During matches, the Daemon Hunter radically alters Wei’s silhouette, trading her traditional monastic martial arts garb for the heavy, structured profile of a gothic inquisitor. The bright cyan glow of her massive, serrated weapons provides strong visual contrast against her dark purple coat, ensuring her character model remains striking and instantly recognizable from a top-down perspective. The custom ability effects further reinforce this cohesive thematic transformation during combat.
Set Includes:

For Dota 2 players and cosmetic collectors, this set holds strong appeal due to its highly detailed Halloween-themed design and dual Immortal and Mythical rarity. Because it includes the Wei Persona, it serves as both an unlock for the character model and a complete thematic overhaul. It offers a dramatic departure from Anti-Mage’s standard aesthetic, making it an excellent choice for hero mains who want a truly menacing, gothic hunter look.
Add the Daemon Hunter to your Dota 2 collection and bring a ruthless, monster-hunting edge to your next match.
