The Direstone Desecration is a striking, Halloween-themed cosmetic set for Undying in Dota 2, introduced in the Trove of Terror treasure. This Immortal and Mythical rarity bundle transforms the herald of the Dead God into a fearsome, armored undead knight powered by a glowing crimson core and wielding a massive, spectral green claw.
Originating from the Trove of Terror treasure, this set perfectly embraces the collection's focus on dark fantasy, undead monstrosities, and eerie seasonal motifs. The Direstone Desecration fits seamlessly into this Halloween-inspired lineup with its supernatural armor and necromantic aesthetic. Please note that the Trove of Terror is a distinct release, meaning this reward is not a Collector’s Cache item.
Visually, the Direstone Desecration gives Undying a menacing, corrupted appearance. As seen in the official designs, the set introduces several transformative features:
-
His torso features a hollowed-out chest cavity exposing a glowing, jagged red crystal that protrudes through his back.
-
The Mythical head and armor equip him with a tattered green cape and heavy, black-and-gold plated armor accented with glowing green horns and spikes.
-
The Immortal arm transforms his left limb into a massive, mutated green appendage with red veins, ending in a giant, glowing claw.
-
The Immortal tombstone skin takes the shape of a jagged, dark stone spire radiating a fiery red glow from within and surrounded by green spectral wisps.
-
The Mythical custom ultimate form turns his Flesh Golem into a hulking, green-skinned behemoth with an exposed ribcage, glowing red core, and a menacing horned mask.
-
The standard zombies are reimagined as green, spiky ghouls with glowing red eyes, mouths, and chest crystals.
During matches, the Direstone Desecration radically alters Undying’s visual impact, adding heavy armor and monstrous proportions to his usually decaying frame. The bright neon green glow of his oversized claw and the deep crimson light radiating from his chest provide strong visual contrast against his dark gold armor, ensuring his character model remains instantly recognizable from a top-down perspective. The cohesive integration of his custom glowing tombstone, redesigned zombies, and terrifying Flesh Golem transformation reinforces this imposing necromantic theme throughout every phase of the game.
Set Includes:
